Thank you to all those who from far or near, morally or physically have helped to achieve this project.

With his new single “It’s Weird” Dianka Kouamé talks about her conviction on freedom of expression, self-acceptance and shares with us his perspective on today’s society where stepping out of what we call the common order can seem threatening or strange. In view of the news, we can also read the clip as a blow against unbridled and globalized capitalism.

Inspired by the music of the eighties, she forged a link between electronic sounds, and popular alternative music tinged with a touch of slightly crazy humor. A rainbow song without borders that calls for open-mindedness.

Dianka Kouame , Dutch singer-songwriter and dancer of Ivorian origin, has shared her daily life for several years between her profession as a singer, actress-dancer and that of a nurse in a hospital environment. After a few concerts in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium that did not go unnoticed, Dianka decides to work together with the composer Johan blontrock on original compositions for the creation of a new EP, then with the artistic director Lotfi Bendimered for the production of a video. From this project is born in March 2020 its first single “C’est Bizarre” now available. Born to a merchant-seamstress mother and a father who taught French-customary chef, Dianka grew up surrounded by her 5 brothers and sisters in the town of Dabou in Côte D ‘Ivoire. Very young, she developed a passion for music and took preparatory courses before entering the School of Fine Arts in Abidjan. She studied the art of song, dance and theater there and made her debut as a singer, actress and dancer in a few local choirs and ballets in Abidjan.

In 2002, Dianka joins the multicultural group “Lost Culture” in Maastricht in the Netherlands, as singer-chorister and subsequently became the lead singer of the group “The Illusion” conducted by the musician-guitarist Sasan Azodi . In 2005, the group won the “First regional prize” at the world festival in Maastricht as well as the “ Second National Prize ”in Tilburg.

At the same time, Dianka finished her nursing studies in 2009 and later moved to Belgium where she worked with the composer. Johan blontrock on the creation of the album “Combo Hop”, an alternative music project for documentaries and films. This project won the “Coup de Cœur” award in 2011 of the “Fou de scène” competition of Radio Equinoxe in Liège.

In 2016 they create together another album “Nan Fa Ya” with which Dianka performs in several concerts, including her very first at Globe Aroma in December 2017 then on January 10, 2018 at Floréo Café, this in collaboration with Graziella Boggiano (Dragon Fly management) the Drummer Paci DK , the bass-player Brent Colney and the Keyboardist Vincent Goffart. The group made their first live radio in February 2018 in the show “At the heart of music” on the radio arabel then on the radio Alma in Brussels.

Dianka also participated in the creation of “Se Lal Bum”, a compilation of songs by Globe Aroma artists, as well as in the show case concert of this album on May 26, 2018 at the old Belgium (AB).
Later, the group unfortunately broke up, so, with guitarist Sasan Azodi, Dianka changed his formula and opted for an electro-pop duo and performed on stages in Belgium and Germany. Dianka took advantage of this and also participated in some musical comedy projects including West-Est Side story 2 and Kompost. Two musicals under the direction of Samir Bendimered and Nathalie Ranson at the Maison des Cultures et de la Cohesion Sociale in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean in Brussels.

All these experiences have made Dianka Kouamé the young multi-talented artist that we are discovering today through her new single “C’est Bizarre”.
